Fusilli with Broccoli and Spicy Bread Crumbs

To make spicy bread crumbs, heat olive oil in a frying pan, add bread crumbs, green chili, oregano and marjoram and saute on medium heat until bread is slightly golden, about 3-4 minutes. Remove from heat and set aside.

Cut Broccoli into small florets discarding any tough stems, blanch in hot water for two minutes, remove and reserve the water for cooking the pasta later.

Using the water from the broccoli, cook pasta in boiling water until aldente. Drain pasta, discard water, and return to empty pot.

Meanwhile heat olive oil in a frying pan, add garlic and saute for 2-3 minutes until it is soft but not browned.

Add red chili flakes, hot water and MAGGI Chicken Stock and cook for 5 minutes until the sauce has an even consistency.

Add blanched broccoli and cooked pasta to the sauce, toss until pasta is well coated.

Before serving add in the spicy bread crumbs, toss with pasta and serve on a large platter.
