    In a large pot, cook 2 cups of Basmati rice in salted water until it’s halfway done (approximately 10 minutes). Set aside after draining.

    In the meantime, heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a nonstick pot. Sauté the chopped onion until transparent, then add chicken, and cook until golden brown, about 5 minutes.

    Add Maggi® Biryani Mix and the cooking cream. Allow it to cook for 2 minutes. Add drained rice to the mix without stirring. Top the rice with thinly sliced potatoes. Cover tightly, and simmer until tender, about 20 minutes.
